My first marathon (over 12 years ago now) was so ridiculously under fuelled (I think I took 1 gel argh!) and I don’t even remember following a proper coaching plan and while the training block didn’t go too bad, race day was a disaster - I went out to fast, hit the wall at 30kms and generally had a less than pleasant introduction to marathon races, so much so I didn’t run for many years after that.

Thankfully my love of running returned and having now completed 2 more marathons (and many more to come I’m sure), and numerous half marathons, I have discovered the benefits and support of having a personalised coach to write and work with me through a training block. Sure the generic plans that you can find on the internet will get you to the starting line but they aren’t flexible should you need to adjust your plan, because we all live a life with stress (family, work, just life!), lack of sleep or sickness. And they don’t give you that added support that we all need towards the end of a marathon training block! I will get you to fill out a detailed form to get a better understanding of you and your goals and then plan out an individualised plan to get you to the starting line prepared and ready to crush your goals.

Depending on the plan you choose, you will have access to me for any questions, plan amendments and nutritional advice.

I am also a certified Level One Recreational Running Coach with Athletics Australia.

Personalised Run Coaching Plan

This is a great option for those who want a customised plan and basic coaching support for an upcoming race.

You will receive an emailed plan within 5-7 business days after I receive the information that you provide on the intake form.

Your plan will include a variety of runs, including speed sessions, hill repeats, long runs and recovery runs.
As well as a weekly check in to see how everything is going and to answer any questions that you may have.

Nutritional advice is not included in this plan but if you were interested in adding that, please let me know and I can advise the cost for this.

Cost: 5km (6 weeks) $129 AUD
10kms (8 weeks) $169 AUD
Half marathon (12 weeks) $199 AUD
Marathon (18 weeks) $249 AUD

Private Nutrition and Run Coaching

This is a great option if you’re looking for personalised coaching, where you will be empowered to reach your nutrition goals in conjunction with seeing performance benefits with your running.

What is included in this plan:

  • Initial virtual consultation (to make sure that we’re the right fit for each other)

  • Weekly email check ins

  • Personalised nutritional advice

  • Personalised performance nutritional advice

  • Personalised carb load/fuelling plan for race day

    Personalised run coaching based on your preferred distance

Cost: $350 AUD a month (minimum 3 month commitment)
